I started over thirty years ago in Site and Drainage Engineering. I've never strayed far from it, in spite of a lot of highway design.
At Bentley, I provided training on the old manual InRoads grading methodolgoy (Generate Longitudinal Feature, anyone?).
I wrote the courses for Site Modeler in InRoads (a port of the more automated tools from GEOPAK).
I wrote the first OpenRoads Technology grading courses (including Pad and Parking Lot Grading). There is some interesting Warping Surfaces for Drainage techniques covered there that should be updated to the latest CONNECT versions of the software. In fact, here's some Drainage Grading Training, if you don't want to wait for Bentley to publish the equivalent: OpenRoads Drainage Grading.
I worked with developing training for Bentley's new OpenSite Designer capabilities (formerly SiteOps technology).
